Yoga Etiquette
First, a little about how things work in our yoga studio
Further down, you’ll find even more helpful information.
Creating a Calm and Respectful Space - together!

-
Arrive on time
If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee that you’ll be let in — we turn off the doorbell once class begins. The studio opens about 10 minutes before the session starts. -
Keep the studio a quiet zone
A bit of soft conversation is fine, especially before class, but please keep voices low. Let the yoga space be your peaceful sanctuary. (If you're a teacher renting space, kindly remind your students to do the same.) -
Turn off your phone completely
No sound, no vibration. Let your device rest while you do. -
Begin your practice quietly when you arrive
You're welcome to roll out your mat and lie down in savasana while waiting for the class to start. -
Clean up mindfully after class
Fold your blanket neatly and return props like bolsters and blocks properly to their shelves. -
Avoid wearing perfume
Strong scents can be very distracting or even triggering for others. -
Do not bring children to wait in the lounge
We are not a daycare. Please make sure your kids are not left waiting in the reception area while you practice.
